The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Houston Member Appreciation Giveaway - Greater Houston-Specific

1. Sponsor
The KACC Houston Member Appreciation Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Houston, a Texas nonprofit corporation 501(c)6, with its principal place of business in Houston, Texas (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins on January 30, 2026 12 AM, Central Time and ends on February 15, 2026, 11:59 PM, Central Time] (“Giveaway Period”). Entries submitted outside the Giveaway Period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter 

A. Member Entry
Active members of The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Houston may enter the Giveaway by completing submitting the official entry form via QR code, online portal, or event registration desk during the Giveaway Period.
Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry.
 

B. Free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) — No Purchase or Membership Required
To enter without becoming a member or paying any fee, individuals may submit a free entry using the following method:
 

Mail-In Entry (Primary Free Method): Mail a handwritten 3” x 5” card including:

• Full legal name

• Email address

• Phone number

• City and state

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Feb 15, 2026 and received by [Feb 19, 2026] to be eligible.
Each valid mail-in entry will receive one (1) entry, equal to a member entry.
No mechanically reproduced, photocopied, or bulk-submitted entries will be accepted.

5. Prize

• Two drawings, One winner each

• Each winner will receive:

  • One (1) Ticket  entry to SkyLounge with the KACC Houston group

• Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $85 per ticket.

• The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Winner Selection and Verification

• The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor within [5] days after the Giveaway Period ends.

• Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

• The potential winner will be notified via email and/or phone. Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant must:

• Verify eligibility

• Execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release

• Provide a completed IRS Form W-9

• Failure to comply within 5 business days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt of the prize.
If required by law, Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC for the fair market value of the prize.

8. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for KACC Houston to use the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, and city/state of residence for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

9. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to:

• Disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or submitted in violation of these Official Rules

• Cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or other factors impair the integrity of the Giveaway

• Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or damaged entries.

10. Prize Conditions and Additional Expenses
The prize does not include transportation, parking, lodging, meals, gratuities, or any other expenses not expressly stated.
The winner is solely responsible for all transportation arrangements, parking fees, and any additional costs or incidental expenses associated with the receipt, use, or enjoyment of the prize.

No reimbursement will be provided.
 

11. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.

12. Governing Law and Venue
This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
