On May 23, 2026, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston and KACC Houston proudly hosted the “Next-Gen Leadership Networking Houston” event at Puttery Mini Golf in Houston. Made possible through the support and initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston, the event brought together a dynamic group of young Korean American professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for an afternoon focused on connection, leadership, and cultural engagement.
A highlight of the event was remarks from the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Houston, Kyung-eun Lee, who spoke about the strong and growing relationship between Korea and the United States, emphasizing the expanding economic ties, innovation, trade, and collaboration between the two countries. The Consul General also shared excitement and optimism about the thriving next generation of Korean Americans, encouraging attendees to remain connected to their Korean heritage while helping shape the future of both communities.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in an open Q&A session, creating meaningful dialogue and direct engagement with the Consul General. The event also served as an important introduction between the Korean Consulate and Houston’s next generation of Korean American leaders, helping bridge relationships and strengthen long-term community connections.
