The Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA and Innovatiion Growth Network (IGN) General Assembly and Workshop will convene April 24–25 at the Sheraton Brookhollow Hotel in Houston, with the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Houston proudly serving as the host chapter. Chamber leaders from across the nation will gather to strengthen collaboration and explore new economic opportunities.
The program will feature a Board Meeting, General Assembly, and Welcome Dinner on Friday, followed by a full day of programming on Saturday. As outlined in the event flyer, sessions include networking, an opening ceremony and lecture, regional chamber presentations, interactive workshops, and the IGN Conference—designed to foster idea exchange and strategic partnerships.

In his message, President Byung Gu Hwang emphasized strengthening inter-chamber collaboration, fostering next-generation leaders, expanding Korea–U.S. economic exchange, and reinforcing organizational excellence.
Chairwoman Mi Kyong Kim further underscored the Board’s responsibility to guide the organization with stability and efficiency while actively listening to members’ voices. She highlighted the importance of close communication with regional chambers to ensure that on-the-ground perspectives translate into meaningful policies and initiatives, while reinforcing transparency, accountability, and trust.
As the host city, Houston plays a central role in welcoming national leadership and facilitating meaningful dialogue. This gathering not only reflects the strength of the broader network but also highlights Houston’s position as a key hub for international business and Korea–U.S. economic engagement—setting the stage for continued growth, unity, and long-term impact.
